disturbingly timely and unusual, the television series English Survivors , tackles the story of a group of people who survived the spread of a flu that has killed more than 99% of the world. Abby, Sarah, Al Sadiq, Tom, Greg, Najid and Anya, immune to the virus and who met by chance in a English town now desolate and scarred dall'immane silence, they face difficulties related to the unfolding of a life of "ordinary", such as lack of electricity and drinking water and safety issues associated with the presence of imbalances in a dangerous world, without more laws or rules. The group of survivors, diverse and multicultural, able to establish immediately, despite the social differences and character, strong emotional ties, physical and moral support in times of need.
The show is well done, the stories of the characters are very intertwined and especially the beautiful landscapes, immense and motionless, make it to perfection the sense of shock and anxiety of those who observe them and listen to them, looking for help, a response, or perhaps just a hope.
